Krypteria: Liberatio - Latin-English Translation video free download

Liberatio, by Krypteria.

This translation was done by me, a one-and-a-half-year Independent Study Latin student. It is not official; it is not professional. At the same time, it's not online translation engine stuff either. I put a lot of thought into my translations (and often double/triple-checked myself against the dictionary and verb/noun charts all over the place), but I still may have made mistakes.

I would like to note a provision under Fair Use for educational purposes. I did this as part of my Latin Final Project for the semester, and I'm sharing it both so that I have a fallback if my file fails to play on my instructor's computer and so that others who enjoy this song/language might be able to see my work and either learn from it or critique it.

The whole song is a bag-of-words, an unordered collection of words, disregarding grammar and word order. It's pseudo-Latin. There is no point in trying to translate it. Liberatio! Speramus! O, liberation! We are hoping!Liberatio! Optamus! O, liberation! We are wishing!Gaudeamus redemptione! Let's be glad in the redemption!Celebramus felicitatem! We're proclaiming a success!Sodalitas! Gratulatio! O, fraternity! o, rejoicing! (vocative)Audacia gaudeo! I rejoice by courage.Viva reverentia - a living reverenceViva fides, libertas - a living faith, freedom!Viva magnificentia! a living generosity!Viva cura - a living care

You miss the difference between "delivery" and "deliverance". "Liberatio" may be translated as a "deliverance", but not as a "delivery". :)

Can't quite read the blue subtitles. Would you mind to make them bigger or to have a better definition? Nice Job by the way.

This is not a translation, I'm sorry - you have not put in sentance structure or pronouns and adverbs - nor have you learned how the endings of nouns and verbs indicate the meaning of the word - It reads: We Hope for Liberation May Liberation be With You May I suggest Latin for Reading by Glenn Knudsvig to learn the language - he was my teacher and none better.
